This is it. I’m going to have to rip this out!!! I had surgery a couple of weeks ago. While trying to relax and recoup, I was on pain medication and coming off the anestethia. Not a great combo to try to knit…even the simplist of patterns. So I thought the mistake I made would look ok. I even tried the sweater on and decided that it would be ok. But I wore it yesterday and kept looking at the mistake. Last nite I decided that I could go back to a place where I had put two strings of yarn together and start from there. Well that didn’t turn out to well. In fact it made it a huge birds nest…just a mess of yarn. So here I sit restringing the yarn. I should take a picture of the mess but it will just depress me later.
On the plus side, I love this yarn and it will be nice to knit it again. My husband just thinks I’m crazy when I say that!! Well here I go. At least this time I won’t have to look at the pattern so much since I’ve seen it before.
